FORTERO carbonic acid shampoo review

Today, I am going to be trying out a new shampoo. This one is by Fortero; it is a carbonic acid scalp shampoo. Disclaimer: they did send me this shampoo in exchange for an honest review. So, I’m going to use this shampoo, and let you know what I think of it.

First, I want to say that this is a foaming shampoo, so you use it like a mousse. I’ll give a little demonstration by shaking the can, and then dispense some into your hand. I’m just going to put a little bit on my hand so that you can see it.

It has a very light and foamy texture; it feels that way in your hair as well. It doesn’t produce a lot of suds, but that’s kind of the charm of it!

And this is what my hair is like afterwards. My hair feels a lot shinier and softer than usual. The shampoo made it feel rather silky. I didn’t have to put much effort into straightening my hair. There wasn’t as much frizz to deal deal with as usual.

I really like how it makes my hair feel overall!

The scent is really pleasant; it has a light minty scent. It doesn’t stick to your hair. My hair has no scent now that my hair is dry.

One thing that I have noticed that has changed is that my scalp is less dry. I have been dealing with some dandruff this winter, and I can tell the difference already. I’m looking forward to using this shampoo several more times and seeing how it can help my scalp health. Carbonic acid in shampoo is suppose to help with maintaining the health of your scalp, hair growth, and it’s gentle on sensitive scalps like mine.
