Hair Gloss Review Ecru New York LUXE GLOSS
Hair gloss offers the advantages of enhancing shine, smoothing frizz, and prolonging hair color vibrancy, all while providing a luxurious finishing touch to any hairstyle.
Today, I’m going to be trying out the Luxe Gloss by ECRU New York in the color “ice.” This product was given to me in exchange for an honest review.
What I’m hoping for is the glossy shiny hair that this product boasts. What I’m not sure about is the fact that I wanted to try the color “ice.” This color is a light lavender which will neutralize yellow tones in the hair. I’m not certain how much this product will tone my hair, and potentially it will look lavender after this treatment.
Whatever happens, I’m ok with it!
Now, I can wet my hair or apply this dry. I am going to wet my hair first in hopes of a more consistent application — and I have very long hair.
I always like to take note of the smell of the product. This one smells beautiful! It is a light scent which is sweet and floral, maybe even a little spicy. LOVE IT! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
The color is a vibrant blue/purple. It’s texture is creamy like conditioner. It’s very easy to apply and I combed the product through the lengths of my hair with ease.
The instructions say to leave on for 5 to 20 minutes. I left mine in for ten minutes.
When rinsing out my hair, the water was more blue than it was violet.
After rinsing, drying, and straightening, here are the results:
COLOR -Right away I notice the change in color. The “icy” hair gloss toned my hair a smoky blue color, and it’s a little darker. I love it really. It’s a gorgeous color. There are no traces of yellow at all.
TEXTURE - My hair feels thicker due to the gloss treatment. There’s also a noticeable reduction of frizz.
I think this experiment was a huge success. My hair feels great to the touch, smells gorgeous like sweet flowers, and looks super cool!
